MERMAN

Written and Directed by Madeleine Wynn, our short film Merman weaves medieval myth around issues of present day prejudice and has been described by Benjamin Zephaniah as "... a well imagined, poetic and important film" and by Hugh Bonneville as "tight and evocative."  It stars Phil Davis, Alistair Petrie, Lucy Scott, Eleanor Grace & Danny Burford.

Merman was shot on the Suffolk Coast and completed in 2023. Astraea Productions works with local producers, cast and crew, including DOP Vernon Layton BSC and Andy Parsons at Bruizer Films.
